My one woman play Citizen was my latest ode to creativity and culture, written, directed and performed by me this play expressed the extensive love between a daughter and mother. The play was a journey of a daughter observing her mothers immigrant mindset and all that comes with the pride and envy of growing and integrating within both an Albanian Kosovan and British culture.

As well as performing various poems imbedded into the script i used music to story tell. Iconic Albanian music which shaped my childhood on guitar and throughout the process I listened to protest music which inspired the final song performed… CITIZEN.
