Teapot Troubles

From table read to recording studio,

Teapot Troubles, my first play, was a patch work testimony to the stories gathered from my family from the war in Kosovo. As a piece of verbatim theatre I interviewed my family members and found the experience treacherous and therapeutic, hearing and retelling the stories which have shaped, transformed, traumatised and healed a family represented as an extension to all the familial stories we share with each other as a country. Having the play table read at the national theatre felt like history as Albanian music played when the audience settled in and then taking it to the audible studios to b transformed into a radio play with an all Kosovan Albanian cast set in stone the accomplishment I had.
